there was no light, there was no sound
very athmospheric. neukölln, i suppose?
Yes and thank you 🙂
there was some picture, but the world not enough to paint!
The pictures are good; thought provoking. The idea of a Children’s Hospital being so violated by random acts of violence and vandalism even after it is no longer a functioning place of healing is disturbing.
They are not just random acts of violence, stuff is taken away by poor and homeless people to be sold, that is “natural” so to say, the graffiti part yes, but there are some masterpieces there to.
The pictures are very good & disturbing. If these are deliberate acts of violence and not random, that would make it worse for me. I’ve seen some masterpiece graffiti — I personally would not classify the graffiti in these pictures as masterpieces. However, beauty & art & sadness & things that are disturbing are often in the eyes of the beholder. Your work obviously speaks to all these things which is by no means an easy feat. Well done.
I had the same reaction, although the pictures are visually interesting and compelling.
Where is this located?
Haunting and beautiful photography.
Very eerie. I have always been fascinated by desolate buildings. Beautiful images.
I can feel “its” pain…
Yes very eerie, no one is there are they?
Amazing photos. What a cool and eerie place. Just wondering – what theme are you using? The wide margins really make the pictures pop!
free theme, i just found it, that iswhy my older posts are different size.

Very powerful 🙂
Many mixed thoughts on this, but purely the photos are impactful and well processed. Thank you for sharing.
congrats on being freshly pressed. Love the pics, they are amazing. You succeeded in making us feel the atmosphere of the place. This location would be nice for a Silent Hill 2 🙂
Powerful yet amazing photography. Love the photographs and the graffiti !
Heart-wrenching photographs. Thanks for sharing!
Do not get mad with me, please, but they all seem to have almost the same perspective. Maybe to try to make few more with another lens, different angle, not only showing to the outside.
Lights was great, indeed. Warm and lovely for the bad and abandoned.
This is the idea, i have many more pictures with this place, but this is a series that is united by the composition. 🙂
I agree with Karen again, it seems a violation to see what has been done to this place even after it is not in use. The pictures are stunning though. I love them in this big format too. They make such an impression–kind of hopeless yet mysterious.
amazing… so artistic….
You know what they say about photos speaking volumes? That was the only thought in my head when I saw your photos. They speak a lot…about stories untold, dreams shattered, smiles, tears, children, people. The pictures are so disturbing, eerie and very thought-provoking. Loved them. Congratulations on being Freshly Pressed, you certainly deserved it.
Thank you Roshni
thats wonderful view by the lens od your camera, I want to go there, where is it?
Berlin, search google for abandoned places in berlin.

I like places like this so much!
Haunting. Great photos!
Must have a weird feeling standing in that building. You can imagine what people were doing in each room and then you look at the real image in front of you.
Obviously abandoned hospital.. Good to see images like this.
actually, It looks like eaten by neighborhood 🙂
I love the grittiness of it all. Very well done!
Eerie… Thanks for sharing. Very Cool
beautiful and haunting, I love dilapidated and abandoned places, especially the history of the locations adds a spooky element
a hospital should give you hope, but this pictures are broking my heart, they are great and different, but still gives me the feeling of being lost and alone
